Business Analyst Healthcare Processes

As a Business Analyst Healthcare Processes, you will be responsible for understanding, analyzing and optimizing hospital processes and administrative workflows. You will bring forward creative solutions to improve these processes and implement practical automation solutions using low-code and no-code tools.

Responsibilities:

  • In-depth analysis of current hospital processes and administrative workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.+Collaborate with medical staff and administrative teams to understand the needs and challenges of healthcare providers.+Develop innovative optimization strategies and concepts to streamline processes and reduce administrative burdens.
  • Implement intelligent automation solutions using low-code and no-code platforms, such as Power Apps, UiPath, or similar.
  • Design and build custom applications, workflows, and automations specific to the hospital's needs.
  • Train employees in the use of new tools and automated processes.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and collect feedback from users for continuous improvement.
  • Advise management on technology trends and opportunities for optimization within healthcare.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, process optimization, or IT within the healthcare industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of hospital processes, administrative workflows, and the challenges healthcare providers face is a plus.
  • Experience with low-code and no-code platforms for developing applications and automations.
  • Experience with the most relevant EHR systems in Belgium such as Nexuzhealth, Chipsoft, Primuz, Cerner, openEHR,....
  • Creative thinking skills and ability to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals, IT teams and management.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate processes, interpret data and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology trends and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in different client locations in Belgium.
  • A natural drive to be able to add value to society by helping realize improvements in the healthcare sector.
