Healthcare Data Integration Specialist

As a Healthcare Data Integration Expert at InspireHealth, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing advanced data integration solutions that combine patient data from the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and real-world data from external sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data integration needs and insights, and translate into technical specifications and requirements.
  • Design and implement robust and scalable data integration solutions that extract, transform and load (ETL) data from EHRs and external sources.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges in harmonizing and combining heterogeneous data sources.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for healthcare providers.
  • Advise clients on best practices in data management, privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement advanced analytics techniques, such as data mining, machine learning and predictive analytics, to identify valuable patterns and trends.
  • Train medical staff and users in the effective use of the insights and reports developed.
  • Document implementation steps, technical specifications and reporting processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data integration, database management or business intelligence, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EHR systems, healthcare terminology and medical workflows.
  • Experience designing and implementing ETL processes and data integration solutions.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, R or similar are a plus.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques, such as machine learning, data mining and visualization, BI tools and federated data architectures.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in different client locations in Belgium.,A natural drive to be able to add value to society by helping drive improvements in the healthcare sector.
